Yes, You must posses a valid Pennsylvania Learner's Permit to schedule a driving lesson. If you are from out-of-state, you will have to request a Pennsylvania permit to take lessons. Learn how to get your permit.
Will I receive a certificate of completion?
Students who complete a minimum of six hours of Behind-the-Wheel training receive a certificate via email.
What car is used for driving lessons?
All training is done in one of the school's training vehicles. Special arrangements are made to familiarize students with their own personal vehicles if requested.
Will my student be the only one in the car with the instructor during the lesson?
We provide one-on-one lessons without the distraction of other passengers. Special arrangements are made for students that require an interpreter or have other special needs. We do not participate in "piggybacking" lessons, where students drive other students home at the end of their lessons.
General
How far in advance should I book lessons?
It is beneficial to book lessons early during the 6 month permit period. Since students under 18 must have their permit for 6 months, we recommend spacing the lessons out. We don't recommend waiting to the last minute to try and schedule lessons a short period of time before their test.
